On November 5th,2019, Lt. Gen. Sittipol Nimnuan, Director- General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), Joint Operation Command and Maj. Gen. Kanit Chamanan, deputy Director General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), Joint Operation Command attended a brief presented by Humanitarian Mine Action Unit 2 (HMAU) 2 , checked on a readiness for both work operation of personnel and armaments prior to work commencement and also gave a work policy based on a fiscal year 2020. Additionally HMAU 2 personnel were tested on the following areas including an understanding of work performance through a non-technical survey, a technical survey, landmine clearance, Mine education and warnings related to anti-personnel mines and unexploded ordnances, first aid  and a medical handover to be inline with National Mine Action standard. The test reveal excellent results.
