On March 4th, 2020, Maj. Gen. Kanit Chamanan, Deputy Director-General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), Joint Operation Command, took Lt. Col. Jean Gosslin Canadian Defense Attaché to the Kingdom of Thailand and his team to visit the operation areas of Humanitarian Mine Action Unit 1 (HMAU1) in Srakaew province. Following the visit, support from the Canadian government to increase effectiveness in performing duties of TMAC could be requested.
