On January 20, 2020, Lt. Gen. Sittipol Nimnuan, Director- General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), Joint Operation Command and his party, were received by Col. Chitsanupong Rodsiri, Deputy Commander of Burapa Task Force/Commander and Chief of Administrative Section of HMAU-1 on the occasion of New Year’s visit. In this regard, Lt. Gen. Sittipol Nimnuan sent his best wishes to every personnel of HMAU-1 to ensure that their morale has remained high when performing duties. Moreover, Director General of TMAC also inspected the operation area CHA 139-01/03/AD in Srakaew province and handed over necessary appliances to the 5 local mine affected victims as follows: Mr. Sompong Iam-Saard, Age 50 ; Mr. Boonchan Wongpinit, Age 50 ; Mr. Pleon Manchit, Age 52 ; Mr. Surasak Promsoo, Age 45 and Mr. Chakrapong Yingkid, Age 56. After the handover of the items, the local people have felt very much impressed and secured from his visit.
