On March 16th,2020, Col. Teerapol Ammarapitak, Chief of Special Affairs Branch and Col. Narawadee Kerd-Chongrak, Deputy Chief of Coordination and Evaluation Branch, accompanied with the committee attended a QC brief presented by HMAU-4’s officers. The brief includes participants from various government agencies involving Para Military officers, Border Patrol Police officers, Headmen, Forestry Officials and Local people from Romklao Village, Phisanulok. The brief was aimed to provide reasons for area cancellation as follows: too much steep areas; a flow of streams found in some areas and a group of hunter-gatherers spreading in a vast area. HMAU-4’s officers have made a technical survey in the designated area which has also been patrolled by paramilitary officers, border police officers and forestry officials. It was found that there were no mines and other unexploded ordnances in the designated operation area, to sum up the committee has made another survey in the following day.
