On February 9th -16th, 2020, Maj. Gen. Kanit Chamanan, Deputy Director-General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC), Joint Operation Command and Col. Visanu Chabathong, Assistant Director-General of Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) took an oversea trip to attend the 23rd International meeting of Mine Action National directors and United Nations advisers at United Nations headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland. The conference is aimed at exchanging technology and experiences, building closer relationship, and cooperation regarding mine action as well as providing support to the countries which has been facing the following issues: landmine clearance; mine warning; mine education and mine victim’s assistance.
